A little panicked

Hey everyone,

I'm trying out this blogging thing to see if my first try will send me screaming in terror.  I've already chosen a layout without having a clue which one I chose.  I figure I'll just post this one entry to see how it looks.  Since I'm closing down my CaringBridge site, I wanted to have a blog set up so I could give the address to anyone who might dare to follow me into such an unknown abyss.  So, here I go!
